Brent Thomas, a senior wide receiver on the WSSU football team, spent Wednesday afternoon reading a book to 30 kindergartners at St. Leo's School.  Thomas, who is from Durham, also spent time answering questions about football, Winston-Salem State and college life in general.

, a former guard with Fayetteville State University Broncos recently signed a free agent contact with the Los Angeles Clippers.  Terms of the contact were not released per team policy.  Williams, a native of Los Angles, CA played under Coach Sam Hanger during the2003-2004 and 2004-2005 seasons.
