EDU: NASCAR NEXTEL CUP DRIVER JEFF BURTON TO MAKE APPEARANCE AT WINSTON-SALEM STATE UNIVERSITY
Jeff Burton, NASCAR driver and current points leader for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup series,  made an appearance at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU)  in connection with a major announcement about  WSSU's  Motorsports Management curriculum,  Burton’s #31 car was on display for the public.

ASCAR driver Ryan Robertson and his race team Robertson Racing today unveiled two new race cars that sport a Winston-Salem State University Motorsport Management sponsorship during a ceremony that included students, faculty and staff on the campus of WSSU.

Hundreds of WSSU Students, Faculty, Staff to Attend Bowman Gray Racing for “WSSU Day” on May 3
When:
Saturday, May 3,6 p.m.
Where: Bowman Gray Stadium
Who: Winston-Salem State University Chancellor Dr. Donald J. Reaves, students, administrators, faculty, staff and Ryan  Robertson, driver of the race car sponsored by WSSU’s Motor sport Management program.
What:  Event will recognize and celebrate WSSU’s Motor sport Management Program. WSSU Chancellor Reaves to ride in the Pace Car and serve as official starter of the race. Administrators and students will visit the Pit.
Why: The event is directed at expanding exposure of WSSU’s Motor sport Management program among Bowman Gray racing,  Winston-Salem area residents, potential students and sponsors.
