VIKING BASEBALL SET TO OPEN UP 2007 SEASON THIS FRIDAY
ECSU to Play Two Doubleheaders Friday, Sunday versus Columbia Union

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University baseball team will open up the 2007 season on Friday afternoon with a doubleheader match-up against Columbia Union College.

The Vikings and Pioneers will square off in game one of a non-conference doubleheader on Friday at 1:00pm. They two team will meet again on Sunday at 1:00pm to close out ECSU’s four game home stand with the Pioneers. The Vikings will host three more home games including a doubleheader against Lincoln University on March 2^nd and a single outing against Newport News Apprentice on March 3^rd. All games are scheduled for a 1:00pm start at Holmes Field at Knobs Creek.
