BASEBALL SET TO HOST SKILLS CAMP JUNE 25-28ECSU
Teams Up With Elizabeth City Parks and Recreation for the “Ultimate
Baseball Camp Experience” ELIZABETH CITY, NC - Elizabeth City State University and the Elizabeth City Parks and Recreation will host their first annual baseball camp June 25-28, 2007 at Holmes Field located at Knobbs Creek. The baseball camp (ages 8-16) is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of baseball, as well as encourage sportsmanship and physical activity. Areas of concentration will include fielding, hitting, base running, catching and conditioning. Members of the Elizabeth City State University baseball team, along with head coach Terrance Whittle will serve as instructors in what is being tabbed as the “Ultimate Baseball Camp Experience”. Participant ratio will be 7:1, so each camper is guaranteed individual attention they need to become a better baseball player. Participation is limited to 75, so reserve you spot early.
