NORFOLK, Va.,  – North Carolina A&T junior Chris Eggers pitched a complete game, gave up just one run and tied a school record by striking out 15 to lead the Aggies to a 12-1 win over Delaware State in the 2007 MEAC Baseball Tournament held at Marty L. Miller Field on the campus of Norfolk State University.

Joe McIntyre led the Aggies offensively with a 4-for-4 night that included four RBI and four runs scored. Nelson Santos added three hits, three RBI and two runs scored. The Aggies will advance to play tournament host Norfolk State at 2 p.m., Friday. Eric Allen led the Hornets with three hits, while Jim Johnson had a 2-for-4 night.

The Hornets will play the winner of Florida A&M vs. Maryland-Eastern Shore at 6 p.m., Friday.
