(www.NCCUEaglePride.com) - The North Carolina Central University Department of Athletics introduces a brand-new 30-minute weekly talk-show, “Eagle Talk,” dedicated to give an inside look at all 14 intercollegiate sports at NCCU. The show will air on the WRJD Rejoice 1410 AM every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Chris Hooks, play-by-play voice of the NCCU Sports Network, will host the show bringing on various coaches and student-athletes at NCCU. "This is just another step that the athletics department is taking to continue our growth,” said Director of Athletics, Dr. Ingrid Wicker-McCree. “Each and every team and student-athlete has stories to tell and it's our job to get the word out and allow the fans to get that inside glimpse of North Carolina Central University. This is just another example of how we can spread the news of our athletics department." Linda Greenwood, General Manager of Durham-based radio station Rejoice 1410 AM, shared the same sentiment. “We're very excited to have North Carolina Central University's athletics department doing “Eagle Talk” on our station.
