DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University women’s basketball program will hold a fundraising golf tournament on Friday, June 11, 2010 at The Tradition Golf Club in Charlotte, N.C., to assist the program with its fundraising efforts for summer school scholarships and recruiting. Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start of 1:30 p.m.Entry fee for the tournament is $100 per person, which includes an exciting round of golf on one of the area’s most challenging golf courses. On-course refreshments and snacks will be available, along with various contests and an awards luncheon. Practice rounds are available on Thursday for $30, which includes cart and green fees.
Participants will have the opportunity to win a free Carolina Trail First Ace single membership, $10 off future rounds of golf at any Carolina Trail golf course and a golf goodie bag. Tournament awards and raffle prizes will be given out at the luncheon immediately following the event.
