Tuskegee Nationally Ranked in Pre-season Football Polls Ruben R. Perez, Jr. 06/17/10 The 2010 Sporting News and Lindy’s Sports pre-season football polls were released and the Tuskegee Golden Tigers were ranked in both, coming in at 17th and 21st respectively. In 2009, Tuskegee won the SIAC conference title with a record of 10-2 (8-1 in SIAC) and finished ranked in every major Division II poll including 17th in the AFCA Coaches’ Poll and 21st in the D2football.com poll. The Golden Tigers return a very talented team led by 2009 All-SIAC wide receiver Antoine Mitchell and defensive back Kenneth Baker, who led the team in interceptions with five.
